Distance Learning

We are not closed, we are just at home!

During the quarantine period implemented by the government in March, our school continues to provide distance learning. Whilst our school building is closed, we have set up an online school, so although the building is closed, our school is not.

We are open as usual from 9am to 5pm. Please contact us via email or telephone (952 290 149). Our Finance Department is also working as usual during the quarantine period. If you have any questions about billing or fees, please contact Lidia González. Our IT Department is also working as usual during the quarantine period. If you have any questions, please contact Juanje Utrera.

Online School: Stay Amazed

We have launched our new online platform for parents: the BSM PORTAL. This portal is basically a central place where you will be able to find all school information, links and resources. At the moment, you can find all the relevant information about our Home Learning Programme. The British School of Malaga works with Google Suite. We use this so that we can provide our students with a daily programme of online education.

BSM PORTAL ACCESS

EYFS and Primary students will have access to live virtual classes and will be given work to do on a daily basis.

Secondary students will continue their studies online from 9.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. following their daily timetables.

More than classes: Extra Amazing!

During our prolonged stay at home it is important to maintain our daily routines and not forget about leisure activities that provide us with both physical activity and a time to socialise. Judo, Step it Up, yoga, weekly challenges, videogames tournament, storytelling, etc.

Wellbeing

Being told to remain in your home without the luxury of being outside or travelling to see friends and loved ones is stressful enough and not something we have ever experienced before. Not being in control of a situation or being able to make decisions creates anxiety itself. With that in mind as a school we have created a new Wellbeing Website. The Wellbeing Website is for students, their families and colleagues at the school. We have shared with you wellbeing ideas for emotional, physical and social activities.
